Hello friends, my name is Bill and I am asking for your vote. First thank you so much for visiting my website.  On the ballot my name appears as William “Bill” McLeod. I am the democratic candidate for Harris County Civil Court at Law No. 4. I received my degree in business management from Texas A&M as well as my master’s degree in guidance and counseling with an emphasis on psychology.  I received my law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

I believe that being fortunate enough to be elected requires stewardship of the laws of our land and the protection of the Constitutions of Texas and of the United States of America.  I will honor and guard the value of your vote and your neighbors’ votes. So many have sacrificed and worked tirelessly to build a life for themselves, their loved ones and for future generations to come and this requires protection.  I am committed to representing the values we as citizens cherish.  Values such as tolerance, compassion, pride in our differences, respect for democracy and cooperation.

My firm is a civil law practice, I have over fifteen years experience in civil law.  I have practiced in every court in Harris County, from the Municipal City Courts to the Appellate Courts and the Federal Courts.  My practice has been focused on meeting the needs of the underserved and those discriminated against.  I strive to give all my clients a personal commitment to the pursuit of their rights in an honorable, ethical, and efficient manner.  I have been extremely involved in community activism and I see the needs of our community.  As a judge, I intend to foster public confidence in the fairness and objectivity of the justice system because I believe in fairness and justice for all not only the few.

Early voting starts October 22, 2018 go out and be the change. It is a great feeling to cast your vote and have your voice heard.  A government, by the people--for the people, will not work without the people.  Thank you for your support and again I ASK FOR YOUR VOTE, every voter is important as is their VOTE!

Thank you for your vote and support!

On the Ballot as William "Bill" McLeod
